The HomeNurse management team is led by CEO and founder
Miranda Roberson. Ms. Roberson founded HomeNurse based on
her understanding of the immense need and opportunity to
provide better quality home care services, regardless of
economic status.
Miranda Roberson, RN - CEO – Ms. Roberson has over
15 years of healthcare management experience. Prior to
HomeNurse, Ms. Roberson served as a co-founder and Chief
Financial Officer for a leading home health care agency in
Georgia. Ms. Roberson also served as an auditor for Price
Waterhouse. Ms. Roberson received a bachelor of arts in
business administration from the University of Georgia,
magna cum laude in accounting. Ms. Roberson earned her
nursing degree from Gordon College, cum laude.
Libby Able, RN – President/Administrator – Ms.
Able has worked in healthcare for over 17 years and has been
with HomeNurse since its inception in 1984. Ms. Able earned
her nursing degree from Gordon College. Ms. Able is
responsible for the company’s daily operations. She is a
Board Member of the Georgia Home Care Association.

Peter Brual, Executive Vice President - Mr. Brual
has over 15 years of homecare sales, marketing and
management experience. Mr. Brual oversees the company's
program and business development initiatives. Prior to
HomeNurse, Mr. Brual served as Chief Operating Officer of a
leading Georgia based home health care company where he
managed and led the sale of the company to an Atlanta
hospital now known as Tenet Healthcare (NYSE:THC).
Mr. Brual is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at
West Point and served in the Army Infantry, earning Ranger,
Airborne and Air Assault qualifications, and attaining the
rank of Captain. Mr. Brual holds an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg
Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Mr. Brual was a nominee for the Ernst & Young/Merrill
Lynch Entrepreneur of the Year Award, a Past Treasurer and
member of the West Point Society of Atlanta and served on
the Steering Committee for the Georgia State Board of
Workers' Compensation.
Carolyn English, RN, MSN – Quality Assurance –
Ms. English has over 40 years of nursing experience as a
staff nurse, head nurse, and clinical instructor in numerous
health care environments and settings across the country.
Most recently, Ms. English served as a medical nurse at
Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, Georgia. Ms.
English also served as Head of Staff Development and
Training for a leading home health agency. Ms. English
earned a BSN from the University of Alabama and a MSN from
Emory University. Ms. English is also a certified legal
nurse consultant, physician preceptor and nurse
practitioner.
Christopher B. Nix – Vice President of Information
Technology – Mr. Nix is responsible for all technology
and systems initiatives pertaining to daily operations of
the company. Prior to HomeNurse, Mr. Nix served 10 years
with Thomaston Mills, Inc. in the positions of Process
Control and Network Administrator. Mr. Nix earned an
Associates degree from Gordon College and a computer
specialist designation from Flint River Technical College.
Mr. Nix is also A+ certified.
