| HomeNurse, Inc., for the 4th
consecutive year, was a proud participant and
sponsor at the 5th Annual Neil L. Pruitt, Sr.
Golf Classic at Callaway Gardens.
Over 270 golfers participated and together with
sponsors raised over $147,000.00. The United Hospice
Foundation continues to do great things…in addition to
hospice, the foundation sponsors Camp Cocoon, an annual
grief camp for children between ages 5 and 17, who have
suffered the loss of a loved one.
Their new initiative, Pruitt Cares, is equally
important for Care Givers, with a mission to provide medical, financial and spiritual support for caregivers who
have experienced a natural disaster or devastating
hardship. A
natural disaster would include a tornado, flood or fire
while a devastating hardship might include an illness or
the loss of a primary breadwinner. The goal is to help get
that caregiver back on their feet physically, mentally and
spiritually as quickly as possible.

we know from our clients, the Care Giver is a central and
important figure in the delivery of care…the Pruitt
Cares is wonderful and much needed to provide a helping
hand in time of need”, commented Libby Able, RN and
